Indian researchers have developed a novel compound showing potential in treating aggressive triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The compound, designed by scientists at IASST and IIT Guwahati, targets crucial survival pathways in cancer cells, including Akt/mTOR and ERK. This innovative approach induces cell death by generating reactive oxygen species and reducing inflammation, offering a promising new avenue for TNBC treatment.
