The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has called its 94th Annual General Meeting on September 28, 2025, at their Mumbai headquarters. The meeting will elect new office bearers, including President and Secretary, and handle crucial matters like financial reports and committee appointments,
TimesofIndia.com has learnt.
With the BCCI AGM clashing with the Asia Cup final in the UAE, none of the Indian cricket board's members are expected to be present for the continental showpiece's title match.
The agenda includes reviewing minutes from three previous meetings - the 93rd AGM held in Bengaluru and two Special General Meetings from January and March. A major focus will be selecting the BCCI's top leadership team, with positions for President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer up for grabs.
The meeting will also see new representatives joining both the BCCI's Apex Council and the IPL Governing Council. Two spots are reserved for Indian Cricketers' Association members on the Apex Council, while one spot is allocated on the IPL's governing body.
Financial matters will take centre stage with the review of audited accounts for 2024-25 and budget planning for 2025-26. The board will also appoint auditors and fix their pay for the coming year.
A notable addition to this year's agenda is the formation of the Women's Premier League Committee, showing BCCI's growing focus on women's cricket. The meeting will also address the Internal Committee's report on sexual harassment prevention.
Other key items include appointing an Ombudsman and Ethics Officer, forming various cricket committees, and choosing BCCI's representatives for the International Cricket Council. The Honorary Secretary Devajit Saikia has informed all affiliated units that remaining agenda papers will be sent soon.
The meeting will also allow members to discuss any motions submitted 21 days in advance and other business matters as permitted by the chairperson. The comprehensive agenda reflects BCCI's role in managing both domestic and international cricket affairs.
